Bird Haven Greenhouse * During the cooler months when the outdoor gardens are not planted, weddings are planned indoors in the Greenhouse Showroom. This may be unsuitable for larger weddings. * Weddings are automatically moved into the Showroom if the weather is unsuitable for an outdoor wedding. (The bride is allowed the final decision) Seventy-five chairs can be set up indoors with the remainder of guests standing. * Outlets are available for use during an outside/inside wedding. * We prefer that bird seed be used. Also, it is important that the bird seed be thrown outdoors only. * Indoor rehearsals are permitted only during regular hours of operation. The Greenhouse is open daily from 8 AM - 4:30 PM. Please call ahead. * All ceremony arrangements, decorations, props, music, clergy or officiator and rehearsals must be provided by the wedding party. Be sure to assign someone to any decorating 15 minutes before your wedding reservation time. * A good stereo works well to provide your music. However, you are welcome to provide taped or live music. * If you expect more than 75 seated guests, we can rent extra chairs for $1.00 each. * Wedding ceremonies must begin and end on time. The wedding scheduled after yours will not be delayed if you run behind. * Wedding parties must arrive fully dressed for the ceremony and no earlier than one hour before their allotted time. * Greenhouse staff and/or the Joliet Park District will not be responsible for any items left behind. $350 3:30 and earlier
* Rental includes 75 chairs * If a wedding is cancelled for any reason, a $75 cancellation fee will be charged. The remaining fee will be refunded as long as the cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to the event. Weddings cancelled with less than 30 days notice will not receive a refund.
