Positions AvailableTUMBLE BEE INSTRUCTOR
The Joliet Park
District is looking for a part-time instructor to teach our Tumble Bee
classes. Instructor will teach parent/tot classes along with tot only
classes. Children will range in age from 1 – 5 years. Early
Childhood experience a plus, but will train the right candidate.
Instructor must be responsible, outgoing and able to motivate the class.
Perfect candidates will be fun, highly energetic and must have an animated
personality. Instructor will receive wage of $10/hour. Other
benefits may apply. Applicants must be 21 years or older.
Looking
for an instructor who works well with participants ages 4-18, is enthusiastic
and has a past in tumbling and gymnastics as an athlete and instructor. Guide
the students with accurate technical instruction and spotting using proper
progressions at all levels of tumbling and gymnastics, from beginner to
advanced. Must be willing to correct technical errors and body form when
instructing and emphasize the importance of correct body form when students
execute skills.
Looking
for an experienced advanced tumbling instructor. Instructor must have
tumbling experience as a student and as a coach. Must be able to
teach the technique and execution of a layout, full twist and a double full
twist. Guide the students with proper instruction and spotting using
proper progressions at all levels of tumbling. Must be able to work as a member
of our team. Must be able to work evening and weekend hours.
